Patricia Tyree Shafer

Patricia Elaine Tyree Shafer, age 78 passed away Tuesday morning June 2, 2020 at the home of her daughter in Winston Salem.

A celebration to honor her life will be held at a later date.

She was born in Pocahontas County, West Virginia February 10, 1942 to James Anin Tyree and Bertha Kellison Tyree. She was a former tax preparer with Hewitt Tax Service and a member of Stoners Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Surviving are her husband, William N. Shafer; daughters, Candiss Jett of Columbus, Montana, Tricia Jett Smith (Mo) of Danbury and Toni Jett Evans of Winston Salem; grandchildren, Bryant, Dylan, Anthony, Mackenzie, Brittaney, Logan and Tristan; great-grandchildren, Faith, Jedediah, River, Eliza and Brooklyn; sisters, Sharon Younger (G.T.), Donna Chester (Cliff),Earlene Tyree all of Trinity, Diane Rexrove of Thomasville and Darlene Harold of Lexington; brother, Butch Tyree of Trinity.
