Patricia Ann Townsend Shaw

Patricia Ann Townsend Shaw 46 of Copley Street, Lexington died Wednesday September 7, 2011 in Wake Forest Baptist Health in Winston Salem after several years declining health. A graveside service will be Saturday September 10, 2011 at 11:00 at Forest Hill Memorial Park with Revs. Frankie Matthews and Mark Rachels officiating. The family will meet family and friends at 10:00 AM Saturday at Forest Hill Memorial Park prior to the service and other times at the home. Patty was born on March 16, 1965 to Ronald Eugene and Gale Westmoreland Townsend. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and was a member of Sheets Memorial Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband of twenty years, Michael Ray Shaw of the home; son, Daniel Bishop and wife Brittany of Lexington, granddaughter, Anabelle Bishop, mother and stepfather, Gale and Estil Edwards of Lexington, brother, Michael Townsend and wife Anita of Lexington and stepsister, Cheryl Edwards of Lexington.
