Patricia Bean Varron, 84, of Davidson County, passed away at her home on Tuesday, May 26, 2026.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Thursday, May 28, 2026, at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington.

A funeral will be held the following day, Friday, May 29, 2026, at 1:00 PM, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Frankie Mattews officiating.

Burial will follow the service at Forest Hill Memorial Park.

Patricia was born on April 3, 1942, in Guilford County, to the late Ervin Lindsay Bean and Lula Yarborough Bean. She worked for Mountcastle Insurance as an insurance agent for many years until her retirement.

Her most well-known attribute was her amazing talent for playing the piano and organ. Patricia began playing when she was a young girl and continued playing for the rest of her life. She played for Sheets Memorial Baptist Church for decades where she was a member and blessed all those who were able to hear her. Not only did she play but she also taught and gave lessons for over fifty years, instilling her skill and wisdom in numerous students.

Left to cherish her memory are her sister, Diane Carter (Bobby), of Lexington; two nephews, Robbie (Wendi) and Jason (Robin); seven great nieces and nephews; and five great-great nieces and nephews.
