Patsy Elizabeth Sweigart Applebee

Patsy Elizabeth Sweigart Applebee, 61, of NC Highway 8, died unexpectedly, Wednesday, December 25, 2013, at her home. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday, December 29, 2013, at Davidson Funeral Home with the Rev. Tom Cato officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, December 28, 2013, at the funeral home. Mrs. Applebee was born November 8, 1952, in Davidson County, to Samuel Sweigart and Rachel Elizabeth Berrier Sweigart Cranford. She was of the Methodist faith and had worked in the furniture industry. She was preceded in death by her parents. Surviving are her husband of 16 years, Vincent Edward Applebee, of the home; daughters, Tracy Osborne and husband, Randy, Tonya Cooke and partner, Matt Tuite, and Michelle Harper, all of Lexington; stepsons, Steven Applebee of Winston-Salem, Michael Applebee of Lexington, and Mark Shell of Morganton;; stepdaughter, Amy Bentley of Winston-Salem; 18 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
