Patsy Humphrey Crotts, 77, of East Ninth Avenue, died Wednesday, March 11, 2009, at Lexington Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 14, 2009, at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Preacher Clyde Akers officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park.
Mrs. Crotts was born March 7, 1932, in Surry County, to Oza Humphrey and Hattie Belle Edwards. She was retired from Dacotah Cotton Mill. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Elwood Cloise Crotts; and brothers, Johnny Humphrey; Walter Humphrey, Gray Humphrey and Bill Humphrey.
Surviving are her brothers, Sidney Humphrey and wife, Brenda, Bobby Humphrey and wife, Dorothy, all of Lexington; stepbrother, Oza Wade Humphrey and wife, Teresa, of Cole Ridge; step-sisters, Myra Brown and husband, Farrell, Marsha Cox and husband, Gregg, all of Cole Ridge, and Rodella Bingham and husband, William, of Greensboro; and stepmother, Ola Mae Humphrey of Ramseur.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and other times at 205 Chapel Drive.
