Patsy Nance Crowell

Patsy Nance Crowell, 84, of Herinhut Rd., Winston-Salem, NC  passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2016 in Kate B. Reynolds Hospice House.   A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, December 30, 2016 in First Reformed United Church of Christ with Revs. Elizabeth Horton and Johnson Gupton officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park.   The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:30 am just prior to the service in the church parlor.   Mrs. Crowell was born August 25, 1932 in Davidson County to Carl Robbie Nance and Sarah Spry Nance. She was a retired Nurse, having worked from 1952-1995, and a member of First Reformed United Church of Christ.  Preceding her in death was her husband, James Edward “Buddy” Crowell, Jr., Sept. 21, 1988 and her son, Edward Robbie Crowell in May 1992.   Surviving are a daughter, Cynthia Crowell Little, (Donald Ray, Jr.) of Winston-Salem; four grandchildren, Travis White and Fiance, Renee; Traci White (Elger Abbink), Megan Knowles (R.J.), Jacob Little; five great grandchildren; a sister, Mary Lou Hanes Gupton (Rev. Johnson Gupton) of Winston-Salem, brother-in-law, Jerry W. Crowell (Betty) of Maryland and a sister-in-law, Mari Heiser of California.   Memorials may be directed to Kate B.
