Patsy Hege Sims

Patsy “Pat” Hege Sims 64 passed away Monday October 31, 2011 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born July 13, 1947 in Davidson County to Lacy Eugene ( L.E.) Hege and Jo Adams Hege. She was preceded in death by her father. Pat was a member of the class of 1965 at North Davidson High School and a member of Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church. She was a retired employee of Thermcraft, Inc. Her artistic ability was evident by the number of gift baskets she created at the family business. Surviving are her husband, Samuel L. “Sam” Sims of the home. Her mother, Jo Hege, her sister and brother-in-law, Brenda Hege Fulton and James Fulton. Her nephew and his wife, Ricky and Corey Fowler and daughter Hayleigh Ann Fowler of Anthony, Florida, and her feline companion Precious. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, November 3, 2011 at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel with the Rev. Dennis Caudle. The family will receive friends on Wednesday night, November 2, 2011 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home for their excellent care, and to caring neighbors and friends. A special thanks to her dedicated caregiver Pat Glenn. Flowers will be accepted.
