Patsy Snider Miller

Patsy Snider Miller, 85, of W. Fourth Avenue, died Friday, October 10, 2014, at her home. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 14, 2014, at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Tom’s Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Denton. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, October 13, 2014, at the funeral home. Mrs. Miller was born July 14, 1929, in Davidson County, to Carl Luther Snider and Ella Beck Snider. She loved her family and friends and was an avid reader. She was known for her tremendous kindness as well as being a great neighbor. She was a very hard working, intelligent and independent woman. She was the owner of The Karosal Children’s Clothing Store, later known as The Children’s Shop. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by eight siblings. Surviving are sons, Morris Miller of Jamestown and John Miller and wife, Susan, of Wilmington. Memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels for Davidson County Residents, 104 E Center St, Lexington, NC 27292. The family would like to give thanks to a special care giver, Cora Tester.
