Patsy Creolla Welch

Patsy Creolla Kinney Welch, 67, of Old U.S. Highway 64 West, died Thursday, February 26, 2009, at her home. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday, March 2, 2009, at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel by the Revs. Glenn Gray and James Messer. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. Mrs. Welch was born April 23, 1941, in Davidson County, to Curtis Kinney and Edna Lucille Gullet Kinney. She was of the Baptist faith and attended Pilgrim Freewill Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, Marvin Austin Welch of the home; sons, Marvin Austin Welch Jr., Russell Franklin Welch and wife, Julie K., and Jimmy Wade Welch, all of Lexington; daughter, Deborah R. Manzoor of Kernersville; grandchildren, Austin Wade Welch, Sierra Danielle Welch, Russell Blake Welch, Nina Kristin Welch, Zachary Blake Welch, Brandon Michael Welch, Annie Della Renee Welch, Marvin Austin Welch III, Walker Gene Welch, and Molly Irene Welch; and a brother, Harold Kinney of Lexington. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home and other times at the home.
