Paul Ray Deck

Paul Ray Deck age 86 of Winston-Salem went to be with the Lord on Friday January 29, 2010 at his home. A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 6, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Faith Missionary Alliance Church with Rev. Michael Gates officiating. Mr. Deck was born on June 6, 1923 in St. Joseph, IN to Bert Ray Deck and Ruth Naomie Kissinger Deck. He was a teacher with Libertyville, IL school system and served in the US Navy during WWII and was a member of Faith MissionaryAlliance Church. He is survived by his wife Barbara Ridder Deck , daughters, Paula Jo Nunes and husband Wallace of Arlington, TN, Linda Meznar and husband Martin of Boone, NC, Sandy Pierce and husband John of Matthews, NC, brothers, John Devern Deck and wife Betty of Mishawaka, IN, sisters, Ramona Jane Ruthland of Black Earth, WI, Barbara Ann Birtwhistle of South Bend, IN, grandchildren, Robert, Christopher, Emily, Philip, Michael, Andrew, Carlee, Catherine. The family will receive friends after the service at the church.
