Paul Edgerton

Paul W. Edgerton, age 89 passed away Friday, December 7, 2012 at Bermuda Commons Nursing Rehab. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 15, 2012 at Betheham United Methodist Church, Bogue, NC with Pastor Thomas Nichols officiating. Paul was born in Johnston County, NC on October 6, 1923 to Garland Lee Edgerton and Patty Ethridge Edgerton. He was vice-president of BTR and mayor for 16 years of Swansboro, NC. He served in the US Navy during WWII. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are his wife Frances Ernesten Marriner Edgerton of the home, one daughter Pattie Edgerton Baucom and husband John of Swansboro; two grandchildren, Paul Baucom , John Baucom and one great-grandson, Sydney Baucom.
