Paul Eugene Floyd

Paul Eugene Floyd, 98, formerly of Tussey Road, passed away Tuesday, December 4 at Hinkle Hospice House.    A funeral service will be held at 2pm Friday, December 7 at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church by the Rev. Larry Scott. The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall following the service. Mr. Floyd was born on July 20, 1920 in Davidson County to Wylie and Carolina Belle Parks Floyd.  He retired from Frank Ix and Sons and was a member of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church.  He was an avid golfer and routinely shot his age.  His wife, Louise Berrier Floyd, and his son in law, Donald Brock, preceded him in death.  He is survived by his daughter, Cynthia Floyd Brock of Lexington; his son, Paul Steven Floyd of Lexington; two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
