Paul Ray Jacobs

Paul Ray Jacobs, age 78, of Linwood passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Novant Health, Rowan Hospital.

No services will be held at this time.

Paul was born September 13, 1942 in Rowan County to Amos William Jacobs Sr. and Lucy Mildred Byerly Jacobs. He was the retired owner/operator of Jacobs Drilling Contractors and a member of Greer’s Chapel United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Amos William Jacobs Jr.

Surviving are his loving wife of 59 years, Wanda Michael Jacobs of the home; a son, Marty Jacobs of Linwood; two daughters, Lisa Allen (Greg) of Belmont and Dana Jacobs of Scottsdale Arizona; two grandchildren, Bret Allen and Kayla Meyer (Matt); two great-grandchildren, Berklee Meyer and Kinslee Meyer; a sister, Patricia Davis of Linwood; his canine Companions, Rudy and Lucy; and Sassy the cat.
