Paul Eugene Jarvis, 77, of Reedy Creek died Sunday, December 15, 2013, at Forsyth Medical Center.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 18, at Leonard Road Baptist Church, where he was a member, with the Rev. Tommy Hepler officiating. Burial will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park in Winston-Salem.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, December 17, 2013, at Davidson Funeral Home.
Mr. Jarvis was born January 8, 1936, in Davidson County, to Herman Cabble Jarvis and Dollie Elizabeth Craver Jarvis. He worked for Clark Motor Company and later worked for M&L Motors as a body repairman. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Herman, Ralph and Ray Jarvis.
Surviving are his loving wife of 59 years, Ethel Jarvis of the home; daughter, Janie Smith and husband Buster; son, Donnie Jarvis and wife Tina; grandchildren, Tammy Easter and husband Chris, Johnny Smith and wife Tammy, Crystal Jarvis; step-grandchild, Brittany Anderson; great-grandchildren, Lydia Easter, Michael Easter, Owen Smith and MaKenna Smith
