Paul Kraftchick

Paul Jerome Kraftchick, age 84, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend, passed away September 9, 2026, at Wake Forest Baptist.

Paul was born February 16, 1942, in Morris County, New Jersey, to the late Morris and Elizabeth Kraftchick. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and later dedicated many years of his life to serving his community as a mail carrier.

Paul was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Welcome, where he found fellowship and friendship. He will be remembered for his kind heart, his dedication to his family, and the love he shared with those around him.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Norma Lawton Kraftchick; his sons, Jeremy Kraftchick and Flavia, Jason Kraftchick and Melissa, Jerrod Kraftchick and Jennifer, Justin Kraftchick; and his daughter, Bethany Chapman and Tim. He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild, who brought him great joy and many cherished memories.

Paul's life was a blessing to his family and all who knew him. His memory will live on through the many lives he touched and, most especially, through the family he loved so dearly.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 am, Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at First Baptist Church of Welcome. The family will receive friends one Hour prior to the service, burial will follow at Salisbury National Cemetery, in Salisbury, NC.
