Paul Mash, Jr., age 39, of Old Highway 75, Lexington passed away suddenly Tuesday afternoon Jan. 10, 2012 at Lexington Medical Center.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday, January 14, 2012, at First Baptist Church, Welcome, where he was a member, with the Rev. Mark Blair officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. prior to the service at the church sanctuary and other times at the home.
Mr. Mash was born July 7, 1972, in Guilford County, to Paul Mash Sr. and Daisy Mae Smith Strickland. He was a former employee of Stone Printing and Graphics. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Temple Strickland; and a sister, Paula Williams.
Surviving are his wife, Susan Flowers Mash of the home; son, Jordan Mash of the home; mother, of Lexington; father and mother-in-law, Donald Flowers and Charlene Flowers, of Lexington; sisters, Barbara Eller and Patsy Harrington, both of Maryland; stepbrothers, James Stricklnad and Dwayne Strickland, both of Lexington; sister-in-law, Amy Flowers Harris and husband, Chris, of Lexington; and a niece, Abby Harris of Lexington.
