Paul Melvin Miller, 84, of Becks Church Road, Lexington, died Friday at his home after declining health.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, February 18 at Becks Reformed Church, where he was a member, by Dr. Melvin Palmer and Rev. Banks Shepherd. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
Mr. Miller was born August 19, 1923 in Davidson County to Lee Miller and Frankie Harvey Miller. He retired from G. W. Smith Building Supply, and later retired a second time from Silver Valley Elementary School. His wife, Marie Tesh Miller, and two brothers, Arnold Miller, Sr. and Harold Miller, preceded him in death.
He is survived by his son, Kelly V. Miller, and wife, Betty of Thomasville, his daughter, Robyn L. Miller, and spouse, Victoria Landes, of Durham; a brother, Leon Miller of Lexington; his grandchildren: Shane Miller, Freddi Miller, Allison Hiatt, and Justin Teel; and a great grandchild, Emily Ann Hiatt; his favorite nephew, Rodney Miller, his favorite neighbor, Scott (Ace) Swing, and his two granddogs, Goldie and Simcha Kvell.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Sunday at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at the home.
