Paul James Minton Jr.

Paul James “PJ” Minton Jr., 63, of Ervin Drive, died Sunday, December 25, 2016, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.   The funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday, December 31, at Davidson Funeral Home with Preacher Clyde Akers officiating. Burial will be in Moravian Falls Community Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home from 10 to 11 a.m.   Mr. Minton was born June 20, 1953, in Wilkes County, to Paul James Minton Sr. and Leunia Eva Miller Minton. He graduated from Appalachian State University and was formerly employed with Lexington Health Care as the Health Care Administrator.   Surviving are his partner, Tommy Everhart of the home; sister, Helen Roten of Saint Cloud, Fl.; and special nephew, Matthew J. Russell.   Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
