Paul L. Perryman Jr.

Paul L. Perryman, Jr. age 93, of Midway passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at Forsyth Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Midway United Methodist Church with Rev. Chuck Ireson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with military honors.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm prior to the service at the Church.

Mr. Perryman was born in Forsyth County on October 8, 1925 to Paul Perryman, Sr. and Dinah Evans Perryman. He was retired from Western Electric, having worked as a tool and die maker for over thirty five years and was a lifelong member of Midway United Methodist Church. Mr. Perryman proudly served his country during WWII in the US Navy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Betty Foust Perryman; three brothers, Rudolph Perryman, Dan Perryman and Richard Perryman; and one sister, Grace Sapp.

Surviving are his son, Nelson Perryman (Mary) of Lexington; his daughter, Beverly Perryman Harper (Michael) of Camden, SC; four grandchildren, Elizabeth Choi (Steven), Rosa Harper, Jeff Perryman and Beth Phelps (Josh); and five great-grandchildren, Kailey, Mason, Ryan, Ashton, and Aubrey.
