Paul Franklin Phillips, age 86 of Lexington, passed away Friday, July 8, 2016 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Monday, July 11, 2016 at Good Hope United Methodist Church with Revs. Joseph Fulk and Tommy Robertson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Military Honors. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church. Paul was born November 11, 1929 in Davidson County to Roy Phillips & Myrtle Shoaf Phillips. He was a member of Good Hope United Methodist Church and had retired with R J Reynolds. He served in the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his parents, son: Donald Glenn Phillips, brothers; Hoke, Arvil, Lloyd and Perry. Surviving are his wife of sixty five years Zana Leonard Phillips of the home, sons; Ricky Dean Phillips (Kim), Victor Kent Phillips (Sherri), Ronald Lynn Phillips (Lori) of Lexington, grandchildren; Jason, Christopher, Cameron and Bradley, great grandson; Jaxson, sister; Wilda Mae Everhart of Welcome, brother; Cliff Phillips of Lexington.
