Paul Victor Skeen, age 96 of Lexington passed away Wednesday at Forsyth Medical Center.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday at Forest Hill Memorial Park with Rev. Jay Whitley officiating. Burial will follow with military honors by Davidson County Honor Guard.
The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington from 9:30 until 10:30 Saturday prior to the service.
Paul was born in Jackson County, West Virginia September 4, 1916 to Abednego Canaan Skeen and Alice Leona Cadle Skeen. He was a retired employee of Owen-Illinois of Midway and a member of Modern Woodman of the World. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the US Army. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Richard Paul Skeen; sister, Doris Poling; brothers, Harry and Neal Skeen and two infant brothers.
Surviving are his wife, Geneva Strickland Skeen of the home; daughter, Vicki Skeen Daniele of Little Ferry, NJ; three grandsons, Patrick Wayne and David Richard Skeen, Matthew Robert Daniele; brother, Donald Skeen of Kenna, West Virginia.
