Paul B. Spry, 74 of Creekside Court, Winston-Salem died friday morning at Wake Forest University Medical Center.
Mr. Spry was born May 4, 1932 in Alamance County to S.W. "Bud" Spry and Viola Edwards Spry. He was a member of Believer's Baptist Church and was employed with Forsyth County Schools as a teacher and bus driver. Mr. Spry was a veteran of the US Army having served in the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by sons Ricky Spry and Timothy Paul Spry; brothers John A. Spry, Grady C. Spry, E. Frank Spry, and a sister Dorothy Coggins.
Surviving are his wife Sandra Allen Spry of the home; daughters Linda Edwards and husband Roger of Arden, and Wendi Carter and husband Robbie of Lexington; five grandchildren; sistes Billie Allred and husband James of Lexington, and Mildred Hatlestad and husband James of Concord.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm Sunday in the Davidson Funeral Home - Hickory Tree Chapel. The service will be conducted by Rev. Randy Robbins and Rev. Carl Owens.
The family will recieve friends at the funeral home from 2:00 until 4:00 pm Sunday prior to the service.
