Paul Elmore Tucker

Paul Elmore Tucker, 96, of Riverview Road in Lexington, passed away Sunday January 2, 2022 at the Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington.

No services will be held at this time.

Mr. Tucker was born September 8, 1925 in Forsyth County to Roscoe Tucker and Mattie Tucker. He was a member of Stoners Grove Baptist Church, and a veteran of the United States Air Force. Paul loved airplanes, fishing and gardening.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Mary Louise Clodfelter Tucker; his parents, a brother, Glen Tucker; two sisters, Sarah McCollem and Barbara Bennett; and one grandchild, Stacey Geild.

Surviving are his son, Larry Tucker of Waynesville North Carolina; two daughters, Sherry Gobble (Bryant) of Lexington and Beverly Benfield (Steve) of Raleigh North Carolina; and 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, will be serving the family.
