Paul Steve Tysinger

Paul Stephen Tysinger, 69 of Lexington, passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, September 27 ^th at Bethany United Methodist Church in Lexington with Rev. Benny Clodfelter officiating.  Due to Covid-19, the family requests that masks be worn at the cemetery.

Paul was born on September 12, 1951 in Davidson County to Paul Matthew Tysinger and Irene Swicegood Tysinger.  He graduated from Lexington High School and went on to attend Central Wesleyan College in Central, SC.  Throughout his life he was employed with Duracell, Moncus Heating and Air, North Davidson Senior High School, Brian Center of Salisbury and Lexington Health Care.  He was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church.  Paul was preceded in death by his parents, brother Joel ‘Buddy’ Tysinger of Lexington and sister JoRee Clark and brother-in-law Rev. Amos Clark of Morganton, NC

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Linda Byars Tysinger, of the home; son, Stephen Matthew-Dale Tysinger, of the home; sisters-in-law Sharon Tysinger and Tammy Byars Jordan, both of Lexington; brother-in-law David Jordan of Lexington; nephews Paul Conley Clark (Lynn) of Morganton, NC, Doug Walser (Ashley) of China Grove, NC; nieces, Jolee  Clark Harney (Larry) of Morganton, NC, Michelle Tysinger Laws (Mark) of Lexington, Sandy Tysinger Lowe (Doug) of Lexington, Joanna Tysinger Richardson (Will) of Leland, NC and numerous great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Bethany United Methodist Church, 193 Bethany Road, Lexington, NC 27292.
