Pauline Baker

Pauline Booe Baker, age 88, of Lexington, died Friday, June 18, 2010 in Select Specialty Hospital in Greensboro. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Monday, June 21, 2010 at Lexington City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Sunday at Davidson Funeral Home. Mrs. Baker was born July 17, 1921 in Yadkin County to Caswell H. Booe and Lucy Renegar Booe. She was a retired employee of Klopman Mills and a member of First United Methodist Church. Her husband, James Charles Baker, Sr. preceded her in death on May 9, 2003. Surviving are a son, James C. Baker, Jr. and wife, Jane of Sanford; her grandchildren, Stephen Baker of Trinity, Peter Baker and wife, Sarah, of Greensboro, Dennis Oliver and wife, Jill, of Cary, Danny Sloan and wife, Carol, and Todd Sloan, all of Sanford, four great grandchildren; her brothers, Lonnie Booe and wife, Judy of Winston-Salem, Caswell Booe, Jr. and wife, Patsy, of Yadkin Co.; her sisters, Merlene Bray of Clemmons, Audrey Fells of Staley, Betty Shuping and husband, Everett, of Salisbury and Penny Cline and husband, Flake, of Davie County.
