Pauline Marie Waycaster Burgess, 83, of Spruce Street, died Friday, Feb. 27, 2015, at Lexington Health Care.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Southside Baptist Church, where she was a member, by the Rev. Dr. Joseph Vann Goodman. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home.
Mrs. Burgess was born April 24, 1931, in Avery County to Clayton Benson Waycaster and Ruby Bonnie Clark Waycaster. She was retired from Henry Link Furniture. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Robert Lee Burgess; and first husband, Robert Guss Richardson.
Surviving are sons, Robert "Bobby" Richardson Jr., of Thomasville, Danny and Randy Richardson, both of Lexington; daughters, Judy R. Rose and husband Harold and Charlie Richardson, all of Lexington; 13 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; brother Paul Waycaster of Newland; and sister Bobby Jean Waycaster of Lexington.
