Pauline Kurtz Coney

Pauline Kurtz Coney, age 95, of Lexington, passed away early Wednesday morning in Forsyth Medical Center after a period of declining health.

A celebration of her life will be at 3:00 p.m. Friday May 6, 2022, at First Baptist Church of Welcome where she was a member, conducted by Rev. Jonathan Goodman. Burial will be in First Baptist Church of Welcome Cemetery. The family will see friends at the church one hour prior to the service.

Pauline was born January 30,1927, in Williamsport PA. to F. Edwin and Verla Cline Kurtz. She was a retired manager at PA Power and Light Credit Union. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Daniel Coney Jr. in 2013.

She is survived by sons; Daniel R. Coney III and wife Vanessa and Edwin P. Coney and wife Bonnie all of Lexington, grandchildren; Daniel Coney IV (Karen), Elizabeth Blair (Jared), Ashley Albertson (Ray), Amanda Coney, Heather, and Bryon Kurtz, 12 great grandchildren.
