Pauline Surratt Craver

Pauline Surratt Craver, 90, died Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at Lexington Health Care following a serious illness of one week. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 12, 2012, at Bethany United Methodist Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. David Tolbert officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. in the church fellowship hall. Mrs. Craver was born December 1, 1921, in Guilford County, to Charlie Howard Surratt and Alice Carrick Surratt. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Roby Allen Craver; brothers, Ralph Surratt and Bob Surratt; and sister, Helen Morrison and Minnie Kinney. Surviving are son, Richard Craver and wife, Marsha, of Lexington; daughter, Tina Peach of Woodstock, Ga.; three grandchildren, Nicholas Craver and wife, Heather, of Charlotte, Krystle Johnson and husband, Joe, of Lexington, and Matthew Peach of Marietta, Ga.; great-grandchild, Braylin Allen Craver of Charlotte.
