Pauline Grubb Foust

Pauline Grubb Foust, 89, of Heath Church Road, died Sunday, Oct. 29, 2006, at Lexington Memorial Hospital. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, by the Revs. Ken Oakes and David Shaffer. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Wesleyan Church cemetery. Mrs. Foust was born Sept. 2, 1917, in Davidson County to Oscar Grubb and Bessie Perdue Grubb. She attended church services at the Salvation Army and was an honorary member of the Davis-Townsend Lions Club. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Elmo Foust. Surviving are two sons, Gene Foust and his wife, Barbara, of Spartanburg, S.C., and Nick Foust and his wife, Linda, of Lexington; a daughter, Sue Foust of the home; seven grandchildren, Brian Foust of South Carolina, Tommy Marlowe of Alabama, Carolyn Smith and her husband, Tommy, of Trinity, Timmy Powell and his wife, Donna, of Archdale, Eric Foust and his wife, Mylissa, of South Carolina, Michael Foust of Lexington, and Ryan Foust of Virginia Beach; and seven great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington, and other times at the home of the son on U.S. Highway 64 East.
