Pauline Lomax Young

Pauline Lomax Young, age 100 of Trinity Oaks, Salisbury formerly of Jubilee Road Churchland community passed away Monday night, September 19, 2016. Funeral service will be held 3:00 pm Friday, September 23, 2016 at Churchland Baptist Church, where she was a member with Rev. Jerry P. Wilkes officiating. Burial will follow in the Lomax Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 2:00 until 3:00 pm, prior to the service. Pauline was born October 19, 1915 to W. A. Lomax, Sr. and Clara Young Lomax. She was formerly employed with the Bureau of Indian Affairs in Washington, DC. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Albert Young; son, Larry Edward Young and brothers, Pat, Wib, Alvin and Ben Lomax. Surviving are her sister; Joy Koontz of Salisbury; brother, Ray Lomax of Dover, Delaware; granddaughters, Susan Webb (Greg) of Charlottesville, VA and Pamela Lawrence (Anthony) of Parrish, FL; three great-grandchildren; Gabbi, Sydney and Carson; numerous nieces and nephews.
