Pauline Mabe Norman, 81, of North NC Highway 150, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, August 10, 2009, at Hinkle Hospice House. A Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm Thursday August 13, 2009 at No Creek Primitive Baptist Church with Rev. Eddie Fowler and Rev. Clyde Akers officiating and burial to follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.
Mrs. Norman was born October 19, 1927 in Stokes County to Zeb Mabe and Lucy Mabe Mabe. She was a homemaker and a member of No Creek Primitive Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Alvin Mabe and a sister Estelle Greenwood.
Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Wayne Norman of the home. Two sons: Ray Norman and his wife Pat and Roger Norman and his wife Darlene all of Lexington. Grandchildren: Andrea Leonard and husband Stephen, Kirstie Butner and husband Bobby and Rogjanna Byerly and husband Danny all of Lexington. Great Grandchildren: Kelby Leonard, Leighanna Byerly, Delanna Byerly, Ashley Butner and Beth Butner all of Lexington. Two sisters, Lois Sheppard and husband Bill of Taylorsville and Joyce Tetter and husband Tommy of Lexington.
The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral home from 6-8 pm Wednesday and at other times at the home.
