Pauline Everhart Tuttle

May 30, 1923 — September 10, 2013

Pauline Cecil Everhart Tuttle, age 90 passed away Tuesday morning at Alston Brook Nursing Center after several years of declining health. A funeral service will be held 3 PM Friday at Faith Missionary Alliance Church where she was a member, by Pastors Michael Gates and Albert Smith. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 1:30 to 2:30 PM Friday at the church, and other times at her daughter, Paula’s home 5330 Old Hwy 52, Welcome. Pauline was born May 30, 1923 in Forsyth County to Thomas Everhart and Etta Cecil Everhart. She was retired from Rosemont Baptist Day Care. At her church she enjoyed singing in the choir. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James David Tuttle Sr. in 1986 and by a brother Austin Everhart, and sisters, Evelyn Everhart and Florence Everhart Alexander. She is survived by sons, Terry W. Tuttle (Reta) of Midway and James David Tuttle Jr. of Lake Wylie SC; daughters Paula Tuttle Gage of Welcome, Alecia Tuttle Dorn ( Bob) of Boiling Springs NC; 8 grandchildren , 6 great-grandchildren and sister Norma Everhart Hair of Burlington. In lieu of flowers memorials can be directed to Faith Missionary Alliance Church, 1077 Gumtree Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27107. Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is assisting the family.
