Pauline Carrick Warfford

Pauline Carrick Warfford, age 101 of Southmont passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at her home.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, June 28, 2019 at Stoner’s Grove Baptist Church with the Revs. Franklin Myers and Billy Pearson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home on Thursday, June 27, 2019 from 7:00 to 8:30 pm.

She was born in Davidson County on May 6, 1918 to Carlie Phillip Carrick and Julia Peacock Carrick. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Conrad Warfford, son Kenneth Warfford, sister Lucy Lemly, brothers Clifton and Claude Carrick and her special feline friend “Buster”.

She was an active member of Stoner’s Grove Baptist Church until her health prevented it. She served as the church organist for over 60 years, served as Women’s Missionary Society president, Sunday school teacher and church treasurer.

Surviving is her daughter, Nancy Gossard (Jerry), daughter-in-law, Fern Warfford, one granddaughter, Teresa Warfford and several nieces and nephews.
