Pauline Weaver

Pauline Leonard Weaver, 82, formerly of Welcome Arcadia Road, died Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at Hinkle Hospice House.   The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday, June 17, at Davidson Funeral Home with the Pastor Mitch Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Center United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service and other times at the home of her brother Dean Leonard on New Jersey Church Road.   Mrs. Weaver was born May 21, 1935, in Davidson County, to Robert Lee Leonard Sr. and Pearl Craver Leonard. She was a seamstress at Hanes Knitting and a member of Center United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Weaver; brothers, Jesse Boyd Leonard Robert Lee Leonard Jr. and Herman Leonard; and sisters, Ruby Essick and Mae Smith.   Surviving are brother, Dean Leonard (Phyllis) of Lexington and Jack Leonard (Gaynell) of Welcome; and sister, Lois Weaver of Welcome.   Memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292; or Humane Society of Davidson County, P.O.
