Pauline Putnam Wilson, age 93 of Carolina House, formerly of White Street, Lexington passed away Sunday morning at Hinkle Hospice House.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday at North Lexington Baptist Church with Rev. Gavin Pratt and Dr. Robert Floyd officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Tuesday night and at other times at the home of her son, Tony Wilson on Creekwood Court.
Pauline was born in Cleveland County, NC October 21, 1920 to Edgar Carson and Vera Hamrick Putnam. She was a lifelong member of North Lexington Baptist Church, where she had served as chairman of the WMU, GA leader, choir member and Sunday School teacher. She was a retired employee of Dixie Furniture Company. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Ralph L. Wilson, Sr. and a brother, Howard Putnam.
Surviving are; her daughter, Vera Ellen England (Ron) of Monroe, VA; her son, Tony Wilson (Belinda) of Lexington; grandchildren, Tracie and Molly England, Nathan and Courtney Wilson; brother, Gene Putnam of Lexington.
