Pearl Barnes Walser, age 93, of Michael Road, Lexington died Thursday at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston Salem. Funeral service will be Saturday, October 13, 2007 at 2:00 PM at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Matthew Farabow officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery. She was born April 25, 1914 in Davie County to Richard Columbus Barnes and Florence Wyatt Barnes. A homemaker, she was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband, (Pete) Grady Webster Walser of the home, a son, Lonnie F. Walser of Lexington, daughter, Ruby Owens and husband Wade of Lexington, 2 grandchildren, Amy Walser, Kendra Owens Hill; 2 great grandchildren, Adam Lee Hill and Jacob Taylor Hill, a brother, Harvey Barnes of Advance and a sister Lee Lemley of Mebane, NC The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home Saturday from 12:30 until 1:30 PM prior to the service and other times at the home on Michael Rd. Memorials may be directed to Shiloh United Methodist Church Building Fund, 943 N. NC Hwy 150, Lexington, NC 27295.
