Pearl Gregory Koontz

Pearl Augustus Gregory Koontz, 79, of Clemmons, went to be with Jesus Wednesday April 22, 2026, at Davidson Health and Rehab in Lexington surrounded by family.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday April 28, 2026, at Westlawn Gardens of Memory with Pastor Don Faulkner officiating services.

There will be no formal visitation.

Mrs. Koontz was born August 23, 1946, in Forsyth County to Everette Gaston Gregory and Mary Lee Sellers Gregory. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jerry Gregory.

Surviving is her husband, Larry Wayne Koontz; her son, Greg Koontz (Tamara) of Clemmons; a daughter, Shannon Koontz Watkins (Robert) of Georgia; and 6 grandchildren, Ethan Watkins, Meghan Watkins, Kaitlyn Watkins, Caleb Koontz, Audrey Koontz and Alayna Koonts.
