Pearl Leonard Miller

Pearl Leonard Miller 97 of Brookstone Retirement Center, formerly of  N. Cecil Street Lexington died, Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at Brookstone.  A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Friday, August 7, 2009 in DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL with Pastor Mark Kent officiating.  Burial will follow at noon in National Cemetery, Salisbury.   Mrs. Miller was born October 28, 1911 in Davidson County to G.W. Leonard and Minnie Florence Staley Leonard. She was a homemaker and a member of Lexington Seventh Day Adventist Church.  Preceding her in death was her husband, Robert Palmer Miller, Sr.   Surviving are a son, Robert P. Miller, Jr. and wife, Barbara of Lexington, a daughter, Joy Farmer and fiancé, Ronald Rader of Richmond, VA, five grandchildren, Randall Harper and wife, Stacia, Susan Underwood and husband, Robert, Staley Dawn Campbell and husband, Greg,  Robert P. Miller, III and Phillip Maxwell Miller; two great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchild; one sister, Caroline Sellars of Lexington.   The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home.     Online condolences may be made at www.davidsonfuneralhome.net
