Pearl Luffman Simmerson

Pearl Luffman Simmerson, 97, of Old Salisbury Road died Saturday, October 13 at Kiser Hospice Home.

A memorial service will be held 11 am Friday, October 19 at Greer’s Chapel Cemetery, Linwood, NC.

Pearl was born March 18, 1921 in Forsyth County to Trely Eli Luffman and Ruth Love Luffman. She was a loving wife and mother of the home and a member of Greer’s Chapel Church. Pearl is preceded in death by her parents and husband William “Bill” Simmerson.

Surviving are her son, Lee Simmerson of Greensboro, NC and a daughter, Sandra K. Goss of Linwood, NC; a brother Billy Luffman of Lexington, NC; two sisters, Margret Baker and Rachel Smith of Winston Salem, NC and two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
