Pearl Owen Sprinkle

Mrs. Eula Pearl Owen Sprinkle, 87 of Old Linwood Road, Lexington, died Tuesday, February 22 at Abbotts Creek Care and Rehabilitation after declining health. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, February 25, at Jersey Baptist Church by the Rev. Dr. Michael Collier. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Thursday at Davidson Funeral Home. Mrs. Sprinkle was born December 7, 1923, in Davidson County to Cuther Owen and Rosa Crook Owen. She was a homemaker and a member of Jersey Baptist Church. Her husband, Gilmer R. Sprinkle, preceded her in death, as well as her brother, Buford Owen, and her sister, Ruby Brown. She is survived by her son, Larry Sprinkle and wife, Linda, of Thomasville; her daughters, Connie Tomkinson and husband, Ron, of Lexington and Ginger Sprinkle of Charlotte; her brothers, Lewis Owen, Vernon Owen, and Willie Owen, all of Lexington, and Elza Owen of Winston Salem; her grandchildren, Brian Tomkinson, and wife, April, of North Augusta, SC, and Philip Tomkinson of Wake Forest; and her great-grandchildren, B.J., Savannah, and Dylan Tomkinson, all of North Augusta, SC.
