Peggie Bryant Carter

Peggie Carter, age 78 of Lexington passed away Thursday, October 21, 2021 at Hinkle Hospice House.

A private celebration of life will be held at Union Grove Baptist Church.

Peggie was born April 24, 1943 in Guilford County to Charles Edwin Carter and Ruby Bryant Carter. Peggie retired in the furniture trade from A G I Industries and was a member of Evangelical Methodist Church in Thomasville. Peggie had a passion in helping others and her family and especially spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, the love of her life; Leon Beasley, Sisters Donna Routh, Cynthia Allen and Lynne Woodell.

Surviving are two daughters; Jackie Norman, Stacey Berry (Joe), Sister; Charlene Carden, three grandchildren; Meghan Norman, Charlie Berry, Lauren Berry and two great grandchildren; Bailey Moose and Logan Moose.
