Peggy Crotts Beck

Peggy Marie Crotts Beck, 80, of Cooksey Drive, formerly of Thurman Beck Road, died Thursday, July 14, 2016, at Spring Arbor. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday, July 18, at Davidson Funeral Home with the Rev. Craig Bartholomew officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, July 17, at the funeral home and other times at the home of Andrew Burleson. Mrs. Beck was born January 31, 1936, in Davidson County, to Lee Crotts and Rosa Stone Crotts. She was a member of New Jerusalem Lutheran Church and retired from Lexington Furniture Industries where she worked for many years in the rubbing and packing department. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Leigh Beck. Surviving are daughters, Deborah Leffew and husband Stephen of Lexington and Sharon Ward and husband Scott of Marietta, GA.; grandchildren, Jonathan Burleson and wife Amiee, Andrew Burleson and wife Carrie, and Taylor Ward; great-grandchild, Molly Burleson; brother, Bryce Crotts and wife Becky of Lexington; and sisters, Bernice Yarborough of Lexington and Betty Palmer.
