Peggy Brittain

Reba “Peggy” Moser Brittain, 96, of Abbotts Creek Care and Rehabilitation Center, died Monday, February 27, 2017.  The funeral will be 4 p.m. Thursday, March 2, 2017, at Reedy Creek Baptist Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. Egbert Craven officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 1, 2017 and other times at the home of Wayne and Teresa Jackson.  Mrs. Brittain was born March 26, 1920, in Surry County, to Grover Lee Moser and Rebecca Marion Moser. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. Brittain, who died January 2, 2011; and several brothers and sisters.  Surviving are son, Harry Thomas Brittain and wife Diane of Lexington; daughter, Gloria Ann Bliss and fiancé, Steve Knighten of Myrtle Beach; five grandchildren, Wayne Jackson and wife Teresa, Paul Gregory Brittain and Cheryl, Stephen Jackson and Tiffanie, Jonathan Brittain, Jason Jackson and Jill; great-grandchildren, Hunter Jackson, Dawson Jackson, Danielle Rose Brittain, Matthew Brittain, Mason Brittain, Maisie Brittain, Harper Jackson, Hazel Jackson, Immanuel Jackson, Taylor Brooke Walker, and Maycee Jackson; great-great-grandchildren, Isaac Walker and Gavin Walker.
