Peggy Brown

Peggy Hill Turner Brown, 86, of Craver Road, died Friday, July 2 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem.

A graveside service will be held at 11 am Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at Forest Hill Memorial Park, by the Rev. Tommy Hepler. Family will receive friends after the service in the cemetery.

Mrs. Brown was born May 12, 1935 in Randolph County to George Franklin Hill and Clyde Louise Hix Hill.  She retired from Johnson Antiques and was a member of Leonard Road Baptist Church. One of Peggy’s greatest desires was serving her LORD and praying for family and friends. Her husbands, Ellis Turner and R.L. Brown, and her sister, Margie Marion, preceded her in death.

She is survived by her daughters, Florecia Johnson (Gary) of High Point, Bunnie Lynn (David) of Welcome, Lou Ward (Kenny) and Mary Finney (Greg), both of Lexington; her brothers, Robert Hill of Trinity and Billy Hill (Linda) of Davidson County; her sister, Ruby Johnson of Thomasville; 10 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.
