Mrs. Margaret Jane “Peggy” Ingram, 80, of Spruce Street, died Sunday, February 28 at Lexington Memorial Hospital. The funeral will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, March 3, at the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, by Rev. Clyde Akers. Burial will follow in the Lexington City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 PM prior to the service. Mrs. Ingram was born September 25, 1929 in Davidson County to Henry Clay McCarn and Zebbie Mae Hedrick McCarn. She retired from Lexington Furniture Industries, Plant #3, and was a former member of the Ladies of the Moose. Her husband, John Wayne Ingram, and her son, Timothy Wayne “Hawk” Ingram, preceded her in death, as well as her brothers, Charles McCarn, and Bruce McCarn, and her sisters, Patsy Barnhill, and Betty Ann Harvey. She is survived by her sisters, Louise Barnhill, and husband, Bill of Lexington, and Carmelita Richardson, and husband, Johnny, of Asheboro; her special nephews, Jeff and Brian Barnhill, and other nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to Davidson County Cancer Services, 25 W. Sixth Avenue, Lexington NC 27292.
