Peggy Moore Kelly

Peggy Moore Kelly, age 76 is in the arms of the Lord Wednesday as she claimed victory over her 9 year battle with ovarian cancer. Her husband along with her loving daughters and son stood by her side through her illness. Peggy was met in heaven by her son, Danny. Funeral service will be held 3:00 pm Sunday, December 27, 2015 at Victory Baptist Church on highway 47 with Revs. Jeffrey Mabe and Roy Franks officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 2:00 until 3:00 pm prior to the service. Peggy was born in Cabarrus County June 25, 1939 to Clarence Marvin Moore and Sarah Janie Helms Moore. She was a homemaker and member of Victory Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Danny Kelly. Until their time, Peggy watches over her husband Jimmy whom she was married to for 48 years; daughters, Tamara Addison (Randall) of SC and Debra Starnes (Bryan) of Lexington; son, Mitchell Kelly of SC; 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren along with many other relatives and friends she loved.
