Peggy Lemly King

Peggy Lemly King, 58 of Beeson Road, Kernersville, died Thursday (07-27-1006) at her home. Mrs. King was born in Davidson County January 10, 1948 to Claude Ernest Lemly and Mildred Elizabeth Wrenn Lemly. Peggy graduated from North Davidson High School and Cabarrus Memorial Hospital School of Nursing and retired from nursing after 27 years. She was a member of South Elm Street Baptist Church in Greensboro and was preceded in death by her father. Surviving are her husband Charles W. King of the Home; daughter Dana King Young and husband Preston of Cumming, GA; grandchildren Connor and Morgan Young of Cumming, GA; mother Mildred Wrenn Lemly of Lexington; brother Calvin E. Lemly of Lexington; and sisters Linda Jean Lemly and Marian L. Comer both of Lexington. THe funeral will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday (08-01-2006)at Sheets Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Frankie Matthews officicating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Monday at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington and at other times at the home of her sister Marian Comer, 300 Hill Everhart Road, Lexington.
