Peggy Ann Patterson Pearce

Peggy Ann Patterson Pearce, 71, of Grimes Blvd., died Tuesday, May 12, 2009, at her home. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 15, 2009, at Coggins Memorial Baptist Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. Lewis Johns and David Schaffer officiating. Entombment will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum. Mrs. Pearce was born February 22, 1938, in Harnett County, to Dewey Patterson and Bessie Harrington Patterson. She was retired from P&S Precision Grinding Company. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John Russell Pearce. Surviving are her daughter, Sherry Kinney and husband, David; two grandchildren, Christy Knight and husband, Tim, of Winston-Salem, and Kerri-Beth Kinney of Lexington; brothers, Buster Patterson and wife, Ann, of Lexington, L.J. Patterson and Donnie Ray Patterson and wife, Donna, all of Lillington; and a sister, Linda Silva and husband, Alfred, of Hawaii. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at the home on Grimes Blvd. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Rowan County, 512 Klumac Road, Salisbury, NC 28144.
