Penny Grubb

Murriel “Penny” Pauline Jenkins Grubb, 64, of Lexington went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, March 5, 2021.

A private memorial service will be held.

Mrs. Grubb was born in Greensboro on October 14, 1956 to Hubert and Beulah Jenkins. She was a retired customer service representative, having worked for Baker Furniture and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother whose memory will be cherished forevermore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Lamont Grubb of the home; her three sons, James Cassada (Paige) of Thomasville, Eugene Cassada (Tabitha), and Christopher Bryan Grubb (Desiree) all of Lexington; and eight grandchildren, Gabriel Cassada, Kristen Cassada Bell, Kaleb Cassada, Jarrett Cassada, Jenna Cassada, Kenzley Cassada, Breigh Grubb, and Blake Grubb.
