Pergie Nations Hill

Pergie Nations Hill, age 74 of Lexington passed away Tuesday (3-31-2009) at Lexington Memorial Hospital. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday (4-4-2009) at Mason Branch Cemetery in Bryson City. Pergie was born in Swain County, May 7, 1934 to William Coleman Nations and Beulah York Nations. She was a homemaker and a member of Welcome Church of God. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Ray Michael Hill on March 31, 2000. Surviving are: five daughters, Penny Moose, Susan Kepley and Judy Michael all of Lexington, Jane Baldwin of Milwaukie, OR and Martha Henry of Chattanooga, TN; six grandchildren and one great grandchild; four sisters, Jaunita Deal and Irene Shuford of Valdese, NC, Parthy Gable of Walla Walla, WA and Willie Shepherd of Redding, CA.
